Picture a scene in your mind of one of those romantic movies starring (my favorite – because this is my blog) Sandra Bullock.
The setting is a cute little country town, where everyone waves and says howdy (because that’s how we Texans say hi) to each other.
There’s usually a local cafe in the center of Main Street which is the hub of life, everyone is drawn into it and enjoys catching up there with their friends and neighbors.
Well, in this little town, right there on Main Street is Nancy’s Antique Mall. You can’t get a cup of coffee there but you can sure find an excellent bargain!
The pace of life in this town, which is appealingly named Rising Star, is slow and friendly. When you walk into Nancy’s shop you’ll find her sitting behind her desk, she’ll greet you with a welcoming smile and warmly invite you to have a look around. Nancy is usually accompanied by a friend or two and they’ll be having a delightful conversation, chuckling and making you feel right at home amongst them!
Upon wandering through this charming shop it’s as if you’ve stepped back in time, you’ll appreciate walking on its original wood flooring, while your eyes are filled with all of the great offerings on display. You’ll find that you’re truly spoilt for choice!
There’s a little bit of everything in Nancy’s shop! Furniture, housewares, books and the list could go on and on.
So hop into your car, head off on a relaxing scenic drive and make your way over to Nancy’s Antique Mall in Rising Star. Tell her that Kimberley sent you and if that doesn’t strike recognition in her, then tell her, I’m the one that brought her a delicious enchilada lunch! 😋
Nancy’s Antique Mall is filled with country charm and delights!
My mom collects brooches and loves hats so she would be drawn directly to this spot!
The prices are great with a vast amount of selections!
Items I’ve bought at Nancy’s;
Vintage, French style, rotary phone, I paid $5.00
“Let the Sunshine in” framed glass picture, $5.00
Top of small hutch, farmhouse style shelf, I paid $16.00
Our Farmhouse dining table was also bought at Nancy’s a few years ago, I can’t remember what I paid for it but I do remember it was a bargain!
