There’s a treasure of a shop worth its weight in Gold, located in Goldthwaite! Catch the play on words? 😃
“Aroma of Hope” is more than a great thrift/antique shop, and it’s more than an aromatic coffee shop. Though it is both of these things, at the core of this shop you’ll find hearts of love for outreach ministry.
Owners, Paul and Marcy Olson’s ministry, “Refuge Christian Ministries International,” is about equipping and training pastors and leaders to bring hope to the hopeless. You can learn more about it here; www.RefugeCMI.org
or better yet, just drop into the shop and have a nice chat with Marcy in person!
The Olson’s are also actively involved in other ministries such as the Shoebox ministry, which helps children in need around the world.
I’ve enjoyed shopping in “Aroma of Hope” for several years now and there’s always a fun collectible to be found at a bargain price and without a doubt, knowing that your dollars are helping to fund such fantastic and meaningful projects, makes it all the more worth your while to pay them a friendly visit!
Ephesian 5:2 (NIV) and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
The Coffee Shop is very inviting and cheerful!
Lots of items to pique your interest in the thrift/antique side of the shop!
Besides thrifty finds, there are also some sweet and unique handmade items to be found in the shop.
Here are just a few of my favorite things that I’ve bought at “Aroma of Hope” recently!
Momma with her firstborn (me 😃). This is her favorite picture of us. Meet Butterfly…
You’ve heard of Laurel & Hardy, Lone Ranger & Tonto, Butch Cassidy & the Sundance…
Sale! Sale! Sale! Welcome friends to bargain hunter heaven! Can you hear the thrifty angel…
Tip: You might want to look up the cowboy 🤠 dictionary if you’re stumped on…
Hi everyone! I hope you’re still here with me, I know it has been awhile since…

I love the name of the shop ❤️ and the little green vase! It looks tiny - very cute.
Thank you Dawn! Sally really liked my little heart shaped green glass too! I did a bit of research on it and learned it's a toothpick holder but I love your creative idea to use it for a little vase! So much love! Kimberley
Can’t wait to go there one day soon. Looks intriguing. ❤️‼️
Thank you Jeannie, maybe next week when you, Sally and I have our girls day out! 😃 So much love, Kimberley

Can just imagine that pinned to the wall of your beautiful Wildflower Manor 😍
"Aroma of Hope " sounds like my kinda place:) ☕️ How quaint!
Much love, Sue 💖
Thank you Sue! I have a whole scene in my living room, (like a story) of other pictures I've collected (at thrifts) that I feel are her story (the lady in the painting). In this scene, I imagine her being on holiday in Italy or Paris!
I think you'd love "Aroma of Hope" and the little town (Goldthwaite) that it resides in. It's very sweet! Also, my favorite garden center is located there. Lots of love, Kimberley
